Kamelot (Lapa)
American metal band Kamelot will perform live at Circo Voador tonight. Formed in 1991 in Tampa, Florida by Thomas Youngblood and Richard Warner, the band is currently on tour in support of their newest album, Haven. Circo Voador gates will open at 6PM and the band Innocence Lost will play to open the night.

Sundays are all about samba and soccer at Lapa’s Leviano bar. Every week beginning at 5PM the venue plays live games on their screens with samba dancers following the matches and the group Samba Di Buteco playing classics of the genre, including works by Arlindo Cruz, Zeca Pagodinho and João Nogueira, among others. It’s time to dance as vocalist and guitarist Marcos Novatto starts the night at Carioca da Gema at 9PM. The lively performer will present his own compositions as well as covers of works by Jorge, Djavan, and Jorge Benjor, among others.
