It’s time for the best of urban culture including theater, music, fashion, arts, and dance tonight as Teatro Odisseia in Lapa hosts Mostra Afro Urbana de Artes (Mafua). During the night, DJ Flash of the Baile mais Black do Rio will spin the best of charm and hip hop and there will be fashion and craft vendors as well as visual arts and passinho and charm dancers.

Duo (Gávea)
The twelve-hour Duo party returns to Gávea’s chic 00 (Zero Zero) club tonight with DJ Fernando Voight starting things off by spinning on the deck beginning at 5PM. Then beginning at 11PM, DJs Dri Toscano and Pedro Massucatti will follow, spinning inside until 5AM Monday morning.

Tonight Cabaret Lounge in Botafogo will host Samba do Humaitá with Fróes, Gabriel, and Betin performing live and DJ Haron Dufau spinning the best of classic funk, house, hip hop, pop, sertanejo and more.

Roda de Samba and Football with Ballet 2 Passistas (Football) (Lapa)
Sundays are all about samba and soccer at Lapa’s Leviano bar. Every week beginning at 5PM the venue plays live games on their screens with samba dancers following the matches and the group Samba Di Buteco playing classics of the genre, including works by Arlindo Cruz, Zeca Pagodinho and João Nogueira, among others. Additionally, DJ Mukato will spin during show intervals.

It’s time to dance as vocalist and guitarist Marcos Novatto starts the night at Carioca da Gema at 9PM. Singer-songwriter Rogê will follow at 11PM, returning for his weekly show at Lapa’s Carioca de Gema. The lively performer will present his own compositions as well as covers of works by Jorge, Djavan, and Jorge Benjor, among others.
