Two stages, the Palco Rio and the Palco Cidade, will host six shows tonight. On the Palco Rio stage, rapper Dughettu, rapper Karol Conká and the group Dream Team do Passinho with the group Bailarinos Kuduro will perform live and the Palco Cidade will host contemporary poet Linton Kwesi Johnson backed by the Dennis Bovell Dub Band, Planet Hemp, and Damian Marley.
Additional events tonight will include the debates “O Negro na Invenção do Rio” with musician Nei Lopes and writer and journalist Ruy Castro, and “O Kuduro e a linguagem das periferias” with musician Ângelo Kalaf of the group Buraka Som Sistema and author José Eduardo Agualusa.There will also be a screening of the film “I Love Kuduro.”

Ocupação ARTE SONORA (Flamengo)
Ocupação ARTE SONORA events continue at Castelinho Do Flamengo in Flamengo tonight. Running for two months, through April 26th, the program features lives performances, DJs, artists, lectures and more on Wednesdays and Fridays. Tonight Saulo Laudares will perform at 7PM, Icaro Dos Santos will perform at 8PM, and André Amaral will perform at 9PM.

Zaz (Lapa)
French singer-songwriter Isabelle Geffroy, better known by her stage name, Zaz, returns to Rio tonight to perform live at Circo Voador. Zaz is known for mixing jazz, soul and acoustic elements in her music and she has released three studio albums, to date.

Back2Black Festival 2015 (Lapa)

St. Patrick’s Day celebrations continue in Centro tonight at Espaço Acústica as the venue hosts the Festa SexTape party, St. Patrixxx Day edition. There will be welcome shots of green beer and shots and bodyshots throughout the night. There will also be a megabeerbong. DJs Grazzia and SaJoão will spin pop, electronic, hip-hop, funk and hits on the pop stage while DJs Polly and Ivy will spin the best of rock, metal, pop-rock, national hits and oldies on the terrace. DJ Daniel O’Ricci will also spin a very special set of Irish Punk during the night on the terrace.

Tonight the Keep on Rockin’ party will celebrate the upcoming Lollapalooza music festival in São Paulo with DJs Ariel Hey Hey and Thiago Burgos spinning the best of rock, indie-pop and alternative on the first floor while DJs Matheus Marins and Bgolls Incrível spin classic and no indie on the second floor. During the night expect to hear the best of Foster the People, Jack White, Imagine Dragons, Cage the Elephant, Bastille and more on the first floor and the best of The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Smiths, Smashing Pumpkins and more on the second floor.
