The event, held at Jubliee Hall in Botafogo, will feature teams of four to six players competing during rounds of trivia for great prizes.
Authentic curry will be provided by Rashmy’s Kitchen and there will be a cash bar open throughout out the night.
The quiz night will take place in support of the Saci Kitchen Garden project, an educational organic garden for the children of Il Sorriso in Rocinha.

Featuring Quiz Master, Stephen Garland and authentic curry from Rashmy’s kitchen, a very special quiz event entitled “Quiz ‘n Curry” Night will take place at Jubliee Hall in Botafogo tonight. Presented by the British And Commonwealth Society Of Rio Janeiro (BCS), the event will take place in support of the Saci Kitchen Garden project, an educational organic garden for the children of Il Sorriso in Rocinha. This afternoon the Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira will present a special concert entitled “Minha alma canta” (My Soul Sings). The performance will be in celebrations of the 450th anniversary of the city.

Back2Black Festival 2015 (Lapa)
Later this evening at the Fundação Cidade das Artes will host the second night of the 2015 Back2Black Festival. Live musical performances will include Alabê Ketujazz, Aline Frazão, Natasha Llerena, Toty Sa’Med, Mingas, Wazimbo, Moreira Chonguiça, Bailarinos de Marrabenta, and Ludmilla on the Palco Cidade and Lenine, Letieres Leite, Orkestra Rumpilezz, Angelique Kidjo, and Stromae on the Palco Rio. Additional events will include a debate, “Literatura numa África em Conflito,” with literature professor Alain Mabanckou and translator Abdourahman Waberi and “A Utopia Brasileira e os Movimentos Negros”, an interview with Bahian anthropologist Antonio Risério. There will also be a screening of the documentary “Marrabenta.”
