Black Label Society (BLS) was formed in 1998 by Zakk Wylde , a guitarist well known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne. BLS has seen numerous lineup changes over the years and tonight will feature Wylde on vocals and guitar, ex-Lizzy Borden guitarist Dario Lorina on second guitar, John DeServio on bass and Chad Szeliga on drums.
The band has released nine studio albums and Wylde is well known for his blistering guitar solos. For fans of metal and heavy rock in Rio, this is a show not to be missed.

Tonight at Lapa’s Circo Voador, American heavy metal band Black Label Society performs live as they make their first stop on their Latin American tour in Rio. Lead by guitarist Zakk Wylde, famous for playing with Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society is touring in support of their ninth studio ablum, Catacombs Of The Black Vatican. Brazilian stoner metal band, Statik Majik will open.

La Passion Club in Glória will host the Super Premium Open Bar event tonight with DJs Daniel Faria, Leo Vargas, and Alex Lopes spinning funk, hip hop and various beats. Singer and guitarist Bruno Britto will start things off tonight at 7:30PM at Lapa’s Carioca da Gema, with Leo Russo following at 9:30PM. Then at 11:30PM, singer Teresa Cristina & Grupo Semente will fill the venue with the sounds of lively samba as they perform their reinterpretations of the works of Noel Rosa, Chico Buarque, Gonzaguinha, Ismael Silva and Paulinho da Viola, among others.

Tonight in Lapa the Leviano bar will host the “Isso Aqui Ôh Ôh” party. On the first floor of the venue, singer Carol Sant’anna will deliver some of the best samba and singer Mar César will perform the best of MPB, soul and pop rock. Meanwhile on the second floor tonight, the band Choque do Magriça will perform and DJs Mam, Deeplick and Cesar Miranda will spin.
