RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Uber reported that it plans to launch its flying taxi service in 2023, the company’s director in Spain, Juan Galiardo, told Business Insider.
This launching will not involve the introduction of a prototype but rather a complete service that allows customers to avoid traffic on the roads of major cities.
Initially, this launching will be limited to certain locations in the USA.
For this reason, Uber is currently engaged in talks with NASA, hoping to develop a solution to manage air traffic and keep these aircraft below an altitude of 3,000 meters.
