This Sunday (28), Brazilian singer Rita Lee was honored during the Virada Cultural in São Paulo in an event presented by Beto Lee and the singer Débora Reis.

The show counted with the participation of Paula Lima and Manu Gavassi and took place on the Anhangabaú stage in the central region of São Paulo.

This was the first show of the project in which the artist’s son pays tribute to his mother’s musical career after her death on May 8.

“Today is a day for celebration,” said the singer’s son before the performance began.

Rita Lee’s image was projected on a big screen and received special lighting during the performance.
