rogeSunday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight singer Rogê returns to Lapa’s Carioca da Gema for his weekly samba-rock show. Rogê’s performance is always lively and the singer is increasing in popularity around the world.

He returns to the city tonight after a recent appearance at the fourth annual Brasil Summerfest held in New York City, New York last month in the United States.

During the festival, Michael Astor of the Associated Press called the singer “one of the most intriguing” acts during the festival.

Rogê is well known for mixing classic Brazilian music and samba with rock, setting him apart from other performers. His weekly show is quickly becoming one event not to be missed on Sunday nights.
