Seed Piracy Threatens Agricultural Innovation and Food Security in Mexico

To ensure seed quality, Mexico’s National Seed Inspection and Certification Service (SNICS) verifies that producers meet legal standards.

They issue certification labels for approved seeds. Reputable companies also maintain their own quality control measures. AMSAC will hold its 2024 Annual Seed Convention in Guadalajara this October.
