A classically trained violinist, Stirling is known for mixing her playing with Dubstep and EDM big beats and for dancing while performing live.
She has released two albums. Her self-titled debut, released in 2012 and re-released in 2013, has sold over 350,000 copies in the U.S. and was certified platinum in Germany and gold in Poland and Switzerland. The video for her single, “Crystallize,” currently has over a hundred million views
Her sophomore album entitled, Shatter Me, was released in April of last year and Stirling arrives tonight in Rio while touring in support of that album.

An Enchanted Evening of Bahian Cuisine & Culture (São Conrado)
Tonight a fundraiser entitled “An Enchanted Evening of Bahian Cuisine & Culture” will take place in support of the ONG Onda Solidaria and its Vila dos Sonhos program, an educational ecological retreat for the youths of urban favelas. In honor of Jiru, a Paxtaxo Bahian Indian who runs the Vila dos Sonhos, the fundraiser is hosting a Bahia-themed event complete with Bahian cuisine and live musical perfromances. The Apéro project returns to the Mira! restaurant in the Casa Daros museum in Botafogo to close out its summer season tonight. This will be the third edition of the party that brings the best of Latin rhythms to Rio. Tonight Chancha via Circuito, the DJs of La Cumbia, Carrot Green, Felipe Sá, Guigo and Linco will perform.
