Ocupação ARTE SONORA events continue at Castelinho Do Flamengo in Flamengo. Running for two months, through April 26th, the program features live performances, DJs, artists, lectures and more on Wednesdays and Fridays. Tonight Radio Lixo will present a show.

Frevotron (Centro)
Tonight Brazilian saxophonist Maestro Spok, multi-instrumentalist and producer Yuri Queiroga, and DJ Dolores will launch the Frevotron project at CAIXA Cultural Rio de Janeiro in Centro. Celebrating frevo, the traditional music from Pernambuco, the project will be presented tonight and Saturday and Sunday nights. This will be the first time the three acts have performed live together.

Tonight La Paz in Centro celebrates the sounds of Jamaica with DJs spinning the best of dub, bass, digital reggae, 8-bit, glitch-hop, reggae, jungle, trap and more during the FAYAH party. Tonight Centro’s Espaço Acústica hosts a special edition of the DBOB party with “Easter bunny stuff.” That’s right, the holiday’s not over at Espaço Acústica and there are still lots of chocolates to be hunted and devoured. Easter eggs will be hidden throughout the club and fluffy bunny ears distributed during the night. Budweisers will be two for one until 1AM and there will be a beerbong on stage. DJs Felipe Malfoy, Bernando Saab, Pedro Massucatti, and Renan Sanches will spin pop, funk, hip-hop, hits and pop rock on the first stage while DJs Bruno Mozka, William Bianchini, and Marcelo Haubrich will spin “trashmusic,” pop, dance, funk, bagaça, axé, hits and the best of the 80s and the 90s on the trash stage.

The Lapafest party returns to the Leviano bar in Lapa tonigh with band Rio Esquema Novo starting things off with the best of samba hits, retro pagoda and MPB. The bloco Picada de Primeira follow tonight with the best of MPB, samba, soul, funk, pop and samba reggae. Additionally during the night, power trio Johnny’s will perform the best of international pop rock on the second floor. DJs Márilo and Ailton Areas will spin the best of samba, sambalanço, funk, hip hop e eletronic between the live music sets.
