Tuesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight, Bem Brasil is back at the chich and stylish nightclub, 00 (Zero Zero) in Gavea to host the Rio’s hostel party, a gathering of guests from approximately 60 hostels throughout Rio to bring together a cultural exchange of foreigners and Brazilians, and make a fun, exciting party.

DJ Haron Dufau will be spinning the best of kuduro, reggaeton, cumbia and hip hop. There will also be free caipirinhas throughout the night.

Semana da Gastronomia Italiana (Week of Italian Gastronomy) (Centro)
Today will mark the second day of the Week of Italian Gastronomy, a celebration of ancient Italian techniques and delicious Italian food. Today, Casa do Sardo will invite chefs Anna Benucci and Marta Meo that will present their menu, Venezia. These two chefs will also give a cooking course later on. There will also be a photo exhibition by Nadia Magnacca to bring a new level of artistic flair to the Italian food event.

Bem Brasil is back, rounding up 60 of Rio’s hostels and getting them together for this weekly party. DJ Haron Dufau will be spinnng the best of kuduro, reggaeton, cumbia and hip hop. Promotions will include free caipirinhas.

To start the night at Rio Scecnarium, band Cartola de Noel will bring the best of authentic samba beginning at 7:30 PM. Singer Nuno Netto will follow at 10:30 PM bringing a diverse selection of Brazilian music.

Tonight Sandra de Sá and the actress Danielle Suzuki will birng a new project to Leviano. The project includes a live band that invites various musicians to play and sing, bringing a wide range of different music types,

Tonight Samba do Leblon will perform at Carioca da Gema, the band that is conisdered to be one of the leaders in samba de raiz in zona sul in Rio. The performance is contagious, lively and a lot of fun.

Mais que Nada (Copacabana)
Cuban bar Mais que Nada offers a lively and friendly night, drawing in a younger crowd just as much during the week as on the weekend. Tonight, they host their weekly Ladies Night where women get in for free all night. There will be Happy Hour until 12AM where promotions will include 2 for 1 on caipirinhas, caipvodka and mojito until 12AM.

Blue Agave Ipanema (Ipanema)
Located just around the corner from Posto 9, Blue Agave in Ipanema is well known for great Mexican food, drinks and for broadcasting live sports. Additionally, most of the wait staff and crowd speak English. Be sure to check out Blue Agave in Copacabana also for a great night out.
