Thursday’s Rio de Janeiro Nightlife Pick – It’s time again for the best of global bass, trap, and UK garage as the Wobble party returns to Fosfobox in Copacabana.
Tonight special guest Neguim Beats of Darker Than Wax will spin and the Wobble crew with Rodrigo S., Marginal Men, and Fabio Heinz will spin in subsolo (basement) during the party.
Additionally during the party, Kinfolk of RWND Records will launch the new EP, Next of Kin at the Fosfobar.

WebFestValda (Lapa)
Beginning today and continuing through the 25th, Fundição Progresso in Lapa will host the WebFestValda, an independent music festival/competition. Tonight Pitty and Raimundos will perform live. The competing independent bands tonight, Kapitu, Black Sonora, Zambaben, Buddy Bob, Cabugá, Maisdois, Cadillac S.A., Antes de Ontem, Necrofobia, and Sapotchen will perform between the Pitty and Raimundos shows.

Tonight at Lapa’s Leviano bar it’s time to dance as the group Mano a Mano starts things off at 8PM with salsa and merengue on the first floor. Later, on the second floor, the weekly Forró Leviano party will present a live performance by Estopim and Trio pé de Serra. Additionally, DJ Angolano will spin salsa and DJ Léo Araripe will spin forró during the night.
