Expat-owned Explorer Bar in Santa Teresa will open its doors to the publci tonight. There will be a show from Michell Agues, one of the best flair bartenders in Brazil and Latin America in addition to live band, Patuá that will perform the best of forró, samba, mpb and chorinho. Promotions will include a happy hour between 7PM and 8PM where it’s two for one on drinks.

Rio Inspired Christmas Special (Leme)
Tonight Rio Inspired will hold a special event that combines great music of soul and jazz, comedy, storytelling and raffles – there is a lot of various, fun activities packed into one night. All proceeds go to local Rio charities – Favela Phoenix and Infancia sem Fronteiras. A highlight of the night will include Multi-talented British singer and pianist, Jeremy Goddard, hilarious Carioca stand-up comedian, Smigol and many more comedians and storytellers to entertain you througout the night.
