It’s time once again for the best of deep house and hip hop as the Follow Me party returns to Fosfobox in Copacabana tonight. The Veneno party returns to Casa da Matriz tonight. For over ten years the weekly events, filled with good music and beautiful people, have helped start weekends early in Rio. Tonight will be no exception as DJ Beto Artista will spin the best of rock and pop on the first floor while on the second floor, DJs will spin the best of future, dream wave, and hits for the Transe party. Promotions during the night will include two-for-one specials on caipirinhas and caipivodkas until 1AM.

Tonight Bem Brasil Entretenimento will once again present the Girls Night Out party at the New Mariuzinn Copacabana. There will also be a premium open bar for women until 12AM. Beginning at 7:30 PM, Samba do Miranda will perform the best of samba to start off the night at Rio Scenarium. Singer-songwriter and instrumentalist Claudinho Guimarães will follow at 10:30PM. Guimarães released his first album entitled, A Luz do Criador in 2009 and is well known for his lively performances.

The Salsa and Forró party is back at Lapa’s Leviano bar tonight and that means it’s time to dance. The group Mano a Mano will start things off at 8PM with salsa and merengue on the first floor and then Marcelo Mimos perform the best of forró on the second floor . Additionally, DJ Angolano will spin salsa and DJ Léo Araripe will spin forró during show intervals.
