During previous editions, well known local and national DJs have delivered some of the best of house, deep house, tech house, trap, dubstep, electro-swing and more, successfully making Mondays a little less despicable.
Spinning tonight will be DJs Onírica, Putos, and Dorly. Additionally DJs Sá and Guerra and Schlaepfer and Artista will spin back-to-back sets.
An underground venue, CAVE is still one of the most talked about clubs in the city. It has, since its opening, hosted top notch events including the popular Wobble and DOOM parties, the Brazilian Wax event, Dutch DJ Eelke Kleijn as part of the Rio Music Conference Club Week and the Friendly Fires and Charli XCX as part of the MECAPresent Rio Festival.

Thank God It’s Monday! (Botafogo)
On Mondays in July, Casa da Matriz in Botafogo is hosting the Thank God It’s Monday! party. Caipirinhas will be two-for-one all night and shots of cachaça will be distributed from the stage. Additionally there will be body shots with Barbara Sampol, cachaça brigadeiros, lessons in twerking, and the venue promises glitter will be everywhere. DJs Barcalla, Viny Moreira, Millah Bass, and Portela will spin the best of hip hop, pop, indie, bass, funk and rock throughout the night.

I Hate Mondays (Arpoador)
Tonight the I Hate Mondays party returns to the CAVE club in Aproador for its 36th edition. During the night, DJs Sá, Guerra, Onírica, Schlaepfer, Artista, Putos and Dorly will spin.

Rio Moonday Boat Party (Glória)
The Rio Moonday Boat Party is back tonight with neon paint and DJs to help you glow while dancing in the moonlight this Monday. Boarding will begin at 11PM at the Marina da Glória There will be welcome shots for guys until 11:30PM and an open bar of vodka, beer and soft drinks for girls until 12AM, when the boat departs. Then, with DJs Guga Fernandez and Angola spinning best of trap, world music, funk, house and reggaeton the boat will then make its way around Guanabara Bay for four hours.

Roda de Samba with Rixxa (Lapa)
For more dancing and singing, head to Lapa’s Carioca da Gema tonight. The venue will come alive at 7:30PM as special guest singer and guitarist Pedro Holanda performs live to start off the night. Then at 9:30PM it’s time for three hours of live samba provided by vocalist Rixxa accompanied by brilliant percussionists and members of the Zeca Pagodinho band.

Lunes Sessions @ Leviano (Lapa)
On Monday nights in July, the Leviano bar in Lapa is presenting Lunes Sessions with band Clandestinos, led by singer-songwriter Udi Fagundes, performing their covers of works by Manu Chao, Chico Science, Jorge Benjor, and Bob Marley as well as original arrangements of the best of reggae, dub, ska, and hip-hop.

This American-owned restaurant and bar on Copacabana Beach is a great place for food, drinks and entertainment. Every night, Tony Boka is performing live from 8PM until midnight. Boka is known for his varied repertoire that always pleases the crowd.
