Misc: International Day at The British School, Rio de Janeiro

The British School, Rio de Janeiro International Festival 2015
The International Festival returns for its third year, including all three British School sites, Barra, Botafogo and Urca! We celebrate the international countries and cultures represented by students and families attending the school, offering typical food, dance performances, stands with games and lots of fun!!!!


The festival will be at the Botafogo site on November 14th (Saturday), from 11am-04pm.
 We have 16 country stalls confirmed and 65 volunteering parents preparing delicious food and typical games from the following countries: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Cuba, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Great-Britain, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, The Netherlands, Trinidad, USA and Venezuela.

TICKET SALES HAVE STARTED!!
You can buy entrance tickets for R$5,00 with the PTA secretary at her office. On the day of the event itself, entrance tickets will cost R$10,00. The International Festival is an open event so you can invite your friends to come too. We look forward to everybody participating as it is definitely something very unique in our school!
