The Baile Black Bom (Good Black Party), is an event which celebrates Afro-Brazilian culture with the best of hip-hop, charme and classic funk.
The party typically takes place on the second Saturday of the month on the famous Rio site of Pedra do Sal. However, tonight the event will be held at samba school, São Clemente’s Quadra located on Av.Presidente Vargas in Centro.
In addition to Consciência Tranquila playing live, DJs Flash and Tamy will spin during the night.

Tonight at Lapa’s Carioca da Gema singer and guitarist Cristina Bhering will start things off at 8PM and Julieta Brandão will follow at 9:30PM. Then at 11PM, singer Teresa Cristina & Grupo Semente will fill the venue with the sounds of lively samba as they perform their reinterpretations of the works of Noel Rosa, Chico Buarque, Gonzaguinha, Ismael Silva and Paulinho da Viola, among others.

Trio Rapacuia, Luíza Dionizio and Simone Lial (Centro)
At 7:30PM, singer Simone Lial will again get things started with jazz and Brazilian rhythms at Rio Scenarium. Then at 11PM singer Luíza Dionizio well peform works from her album entitled, Devotion. Finally beginning at 2:30 AM, the group Trio Rapacuia will play some of the best forró you can hear any in the city tonight. Their show will include thier reinterpreatations of works by Luiz Gonzaga, Jackson do Pandeiro, João do Vale, Dominguinhos, Gilberto Gil, Chico Buarque, Geraldo Azevedo and Zé Ramalho, among others.

Tonight in Lapa the Leviano bar will host Baile do Black with singer/DJ/presenter Sandro Black and guests.
