Marcelo Callado (Lapa)
Tonight composer, drummer, and producer Marcelo Callado will launch his newest album, Meu Trabalho Han Sollo Vol. II, live at Audio in Botafogo. Callado has previously worked on projects with Carne de Segunda, Do Amor, Canastra, Caetaeno Veloso, and Lucas Santtana, among others.

Tonight the chic indoor/outdoor venue 00 (Zero Zero) in Gávea will host the Calling party, Berlin edition. During each edition the Calling party is celebrating a genre of music including the labels that release it, clubs in which it’s played, and the general scene. Tonight it’s Berlin’s turn with DJs Nepal, Davis from Soul Clap Records and special guest Virginia from Berlin spinning inside during night. The I love Rock and Roll party returns to Casa da Matriz in Botafogo tonight with resident DJs Mario Mamede and Vitinho Operacional welcoming special guests DJs Gabriel Gazzaneo and Iggor Ahrends to spin the very best of distorted guitars, classic and new international and national rock throughout the night. There will be no entrance fee for women (with their names on the friend’s list) until 11:30PM and caipirinhas will be two-for-one until 1AM.

The Lapafest party returns to the Leviano bar in Lapa tonight with singer Lucas de Moraes starting things off tonight on the first floor with a lively roda de samba including his reinterpretations of works by João Mogueira, Zeca Pagodinho, and Jorge Aragão. Singer Mar César will follow with more samba plus the best of MPB, soul, funk and samba reggae. Addtionally during the night on the second floor, the power trio Johnny’s will perform the best of International pop rock. DJs Márlio and Aílton Areas will spin the best of samba, sambalanço, funk, hip hop and electronic during show intervals
