Forbes: Six of Top Ten Brazilian Banks Ranked by Customers Are Digital

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Nubank digital bank ranked first among the best banks in Brazil in customers’ opinion. The list is part of the Forbes magazine’s global ranking of best banks, released yesterday, June 10th.

The list is based on a survey conducted by Forbes in partnership with the Statista statistics company. Over 40,000 people in 23 countries rated the banks based on criteria such as trust, customer service, digital services, financial consulting, and overall satisfaction.

The magazine notes that in 2019, Nubank grew from 6 million to 20 million customers and is now valued at US$10 billion (R$50 billion).

In addition to Nubank, other Brazilian digital banks, such as Banco Inter and Neon, are included in the top part of list. The largest Brazilian banks – Itaú, Bradesco, Santander and Caixa Econômica – were ranked well below most digital banks.
