The Brazilian Central Bank (BC) determined on Thursday 2 that even after authorizing WhatsApp to launch the option that allows users to make transactions with credit cards, debit cards, and prepaid cards within the application, the company must wait 30 days before making the feature available.
According to the representative of WhatsApp in Latin America, Guilherme Horn, the function to pay companies in the application conversations will soon be released.
So far, it is only possible to make transfers between individuals within the conversations screen, needing only to register a card and enter personal data such as full name, zip . . .
