Soros positions himself as the Democratic Party’s largest donor in this US election

Having transformed the criminal justice system by placing left-leaning judges and prosecutors across the country, the Democratic philanthropist is now focused on funding Democratic lawmakers, investing more than US$250 million this cycle.

With the midterm elections just three weeks away, congressional candidates from both parties are on track to break the midterm fundraising record, having raised an exorbitant US$2.5 billion in total this cycle, a 70% increase compared to the 2018 election.

A massive initiative of billionaire mega-donors came out to support both parties in a historic race to take control of Congress.

Among these mega-donors were right-wing philanthropists Peter Thiel and Ken Griffin, businessmen in the finance sector who have donated millions to the Republican Party.

On the Democratic side, however, they have an unquestioned advantage: no donor comes close to the amount left-wing billionaire George Soros gave this cycle to Biden’s candidates.

According to public information on partisan donations, Soros has already spent more than US$129 million out of his pocket in support of Democratic candidates and plans to deploy even more money in the remaining two weeks.

It is not the total amount the left-wing financier has spent.

Through the so-called Democracy PAC II, contributions from foundations and corporations named after the Hungarian philanthropist exceed US$200 million, of which US$120 million is for this election cycle, and US$80 million was earmarked to fund the campaign of Democratic candidates during the 2020 election.

PACs are independent political action committees that can raise unlimited amounts of money without being part of a candidate’s campaign, even though they are used to finance political actions such as advertising or other activities on behalf of that candidate.

Contribution limits restrict the total amounts of these funds, although these limitations can be avoided by creating what are known as Super PACs.

Unlike other countries where this is prohibited, and generally, these contributions end up being made in the black, in the United States, it is legalized, and all donations are recorded in public places, so the millions spent by Soros and his companies have been completely laundered and far from being a conspiracy theory.

In addition to investing in legislative candidates, Soros has set his sights on taking the U.S. judiciary by storm. The Democratic philanthropist has invested more than US$40 million to fill the campaign coffers of abolitionist left-wing judicial and prosecutorial candidates.

These Soros-funded candidates repeat the same agenda: they advocate defunding the police, early release for prisoners, and abolishing all private prisons in the country.

As the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund reports, in the last three elections, 75 Soros-backed candidates have won elections in half of the nation’s urban jurisdictions, home to approximately 72 million people.

These prosecutors are transforming the American criminal justice system, refusing to prosecute African-American violent crimes and advocating for early release and early parole.

The effect of all this has been to transform the cities of New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Los Angeles into veritable sanctuaries for repeat offenders who have a free hand to act as victimizers.

The police in these jurisdictions are demoralized, and the public is outraged, but Soros’ prosecutors remain unperturbed and steadfast in their efforts to keep criminals on the streets.

Even though many of these Democratic prosecutors and legislators have rock-bottom approval ratings, many will be re-elected thanks to the millions of dollars in propaganda they receive from Soros.

All prosecutors are required to take an oath of office to uphold the Constitution and the law and to answer to the citizens; however, as a sign of the power wielded by this billionaire, Soros-backed prosecutors do nothing more than swear allegiance to the man who financed their campaigns and got them into that position of power, as do several Democratic candidates.
