Since its opening La Paz has hosted numerous events including the popular DOOM party, the NAVE party, Junkie Sessions and the recent return of the Zoeira party.
Beginning at 2PM today and continuing through 11PM tonight, the venue will present a Coro Come featuring DJs spinning vinyl, quadrinhos (dancing), food and live music.
Entry will be free throughout the event.

BR 3 + 1 (Botafogo)
Tonight BR 3 + 1 will perform live at Audio Rebel in Botafogo. The group consists of vocalist and keyboardist Jorjão Barreto, drummer Paulinho Black, and vocalist, trombonist and percussionist Darcy. All three are former member of the band Black Rio and for BR3 + 1 they are joined by vocalist and bassist Alberto Continentino.

El Miraculoso Samba Jazz (Urca)
Weather permitting, the group El Miraculoso Samba Jazz will perform live at Urca’s Praia Vermelha today. Consisting of Henrique Vaz on trumpet; Marcos Luz on bass; Gabriel Barbosa on drums; and Jefferson Moreira on guitar, the quartet are known for great live performances. Sundae Tracks (Botafogo)
The fourth and final Sundae Tracks party of the season will take place at Casa da Matriz in Botafogo tonight. DJ Melvin will spin on the first floor and special guest DJ, SAL will spin on the second floor during the night. Promotions will include two and two-for-one Cuba Libre all night long.

It’s time once again for the best of house, electro, and pop as the twelve-hour Duo party returns to Gávea’s chic 00 (Zero Zero) club. DJ Voight will start the party around 5PM by spinning on the deck and DJs Sabrinia, Tomé, Rafael Calvente, and Tatha Toscano will follow, spinning inside throughtout the night until 5AM Monday morning.

La Paz – 2 Anos (Centro)
La Paz in Centro will present a Coro Come featuring DJs spinning vinyl, quadrinhos (dancing), food and live music today and tonight as part of the fifth and final day of its two-year anniversary celebrations. Entry will be free throughout the event.

Roda de Samba and Football with Ballet 2 Passistas (Football) (Lapa)
Sundays are all about samba and soccer at Lapa’s Leviano bar. Every week beginning at 5PM the venue plays live games on their screens with a live performance following the matches. Tonight the group Samba Di Buteco will play classic samba including works by Arlindo Cruz, Zeca Pagodinho and João Nogueira, among others. Additionally, DJ Mukato will spin during show intervals.

It’s time to dance as singer-songwriter Rogê returns for his weekly show at Lapa’s Carioca de Gema. The lively performer will present his own compositions as well as covers of works by Jorge, Djavan, and Jorge Benjor, among others.

Sambombom @ OMG Lounge (Leblon)
On Sunday nights, OMG Lounge in Leblon is hosting the Sambombom party, a lively a roda da samba that is a great way to end your weekend. Promotions include two caipirinhas for R$25.50. Opened in March, the OMG Lounge has been attracting both locals and tourists alike. In addition to offering an intimate atmosphere and new varieties of food and drinks, the venue is hosting events on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.

Speed Rock @ Saloon 79 (Botafogo)
Tonight Saloon 79 in Botafogo will present the Speed Rock event with bands Helga, Fogo Após Fogo, and Atomic Winter performing live. Additionally during the night, welcome shots of Santa Dose will be distributed and promotions will include two-for-one specials on Cuba Libre and Hi-Fi.
