Currently touring in support of their ninth album, Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance, the band arrives in Rio thanks to the interest of fans and to Queremos, a Rio based crowdfunded kickstarter, that connects musicians, agents, fans and venues.
Founded in 2010, Queremos has helped to bring more than eighty shows to the country. Belle and Sebastian were the second group, after Miike Snow, to arrive in Rio with the help of Queremos.
Following the Belle and Sebastian performance tonight, there will be an after show party with the Manie Gang, the resident DJ Crew of the Manie Dansante parties. While the DJs are known for their mixes of electro-swing, swing, and retro beats, the parties are also known for guest performers including jugglers, clowns, contortionists, acrobats, and Lindy Hop dancers.

The popular Labirinto festival returns to The Maze and tonight the event will feature live performances by Funk!NOS!Chama with Lica Tito and her Amy Winehouse tributes. Additionally during the night, DJs Rafa Canholato and Pajé will spin.

Fela Day (Lapa)
It’s time for the best of breaks, African rhythms and afrobeats tonight as Circo Voador in Lapa hosts the Fela Day festival. The groups Abayomy Afrobeat Orquestra and Aláfia will perform live and the Makula party will provide DJs spinning during the show intervals.

Belle and Sebastian (Flamengo)
Scottish indie band Belle and Sebastian returns to Rio tonight to perform live at Vivo Rio. Currently touring in support of their ninth album, Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance, the band consists of members Mick Cooke, Richard Colburn, Bobby Kildea, Chris Geddes, Stevie Jackson, Sarah Martin, Stuart Murdoch. Following their show, the Manie Gang DJs will spin the best of best of electro-swing, swing, electro, blues, new jazz and many other retro beats.

Teatro Odisséia will host a special Halloween edition of the Puta Que Pariu party tonight. There will be games, welcome shots of jurupinga and catuaba, shots of tequila, bodyshots with Chantilly, and the beerbong will return for the party. The Propaganda party returns to Casa da Matriz in Botafogo tonight with the best of indie from around the world. DJs Bgolls Incrível, Bøechat, and Buba will spin the best of Disclosure, Arcade Fire, Lana Del Rey and more on the first floor during the night and the best of pop on the second floor during the night for the POPaganda party. It’s time again for Lapafest at Leviano bar tonight.
