The quintet currently features vocalist and guitarist Britt Daniel, drummer Jim Eno, bassist Rob Pope, and keyboardists and guitarists Eric Harvey and Alex Fischel.
Formed in 1993 in Austin, Texas by Daniel and Eno, Spoon has released multiple EPs and singles and eight studio albums.
They are currently on tour in support of their most recent release entitled, They Want My Soul, and will arrive in Sacadura 154 thanks in part to the help of fans and Queremos, a Rio based crowdfunded kickstarter, that connects musicians, agents, fans and venues.
Brooklyn-based synthpop/nu-disco duo, Holy Ghost! with Nick Millhiser and Alex Frankel will open the night and DJs Yugo and Duda will spin after the show.

The Veneno party is back at Casa da Matriz tonight with a celebration of Dia dos Mestres. For over ten years the weekly events, filled with good music and beautiful people, have helped start weekends early in Rio.
