Born Robbert van de Corput in Breda, Netherlands, Hardwell began to DJ at age eleven and signed his first record deal at the age of thirteen. By the time he was twenty-five, he was voted the number one DJ in the world, becoming the youngest ever DJ to take the number one spot on DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs Poll. Now 26 years-old, Hardwell maintains his title, as he was again voted number one for a second consecutive year earlier in October.

Hardwell made a name for himself with singles that include “Dare You”, “Young Again”, “Encoded”, and “Cobra,” among others and through his highly acclaimed live sets at major festivals that include Miami’s Ultra Music Festival and Tomorrowland. The documentary film, “I AM HARDWELL” released in 2013, gives an inside look Hardwell’s live performances and chronicles the DJ’s rise to fame.

In addition to appearing on multiple compilation albums and collaborating with and remixing numerous artists including Fedde Le Grande, Bob Sinclar, Laidback Luke, Nicky Romero, and W&W, among others Hardwell has released over a dozen singles. His first studio album entitled United We Are is scheduled for release on January 23rd.
