The Netherlands announces purchase of five Brazilian Embraer cargo planes

The Netherlands is a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The purchase cost is estimated at €1 billion (US$1.1 billion).

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On June 16, the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands confirmed it would buy five C-390M freighters manufactured by Brazil's Embraer. According to the Dutch government, the first aircraft should be delivered in 2026.
