As of June 15th, Congonhas (SP), Aracaju (SE), and Natal (RN) will once again host flights from the airline. Ribeirão Preto (SP) is to return on June 10th, while Rondonópolis (MT) will have operations starting on June 22nd.

According to the company, Congonhas Airport will operate two daily flights to Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte, and will also provide daily operations to Recife, Azul’s connection hub in the Northeast, and Cuiabá in Brazil’s Center-West.

“More cities in the country will be reconnected with the company’s domestic and international network, which contributes to the shipping of important goods, such as medicines and personal protection equipment, as well as customers who need to travel and health professionals,” the company said in a statement.

The measures signal the airline’s return to operations during a crisis that has impacted the aviation sector because of the coronavirus pandemic. Nevertheless, the company says that capacity in June should be 80 percent lower than in June last year.

Tickets are already available on all of the company’s official channels.
