Argentina’s largest aviation festival is held at the Morón military airfield
From July 21-23, the Argentine Air Force organized the Argentina Vuela 2023 festival at the Morón Military Air Base.
The event, which is the country’s most significant, allowed spectators to view a range of demonstrations, including aerial displays of various weapons systems, aircraft exhibitions, simulated combat rescue, and parachute drops.
On display and in flight during the event were aircraft such as Beechcraft TC-12B Huron, Fokker F-28, IA-63 Pampa, and helicopters like LAMA, Bell 412, and Hughes 500.
The festival also featured unmanned aerial systems, a TAM, an M113, and a Humvee armed with a TOW missile.
In addition to the various exhibits, the festival hosted institutional stalls from Armed and Security Forces, government agencies, the Ministry of Transport, and companies like Invap.

The National Museum of Aeronautics, situated at the same airbase, was also open to the public, displaying standout pieces such as the Latécoère XXV and Pulqui I and II, the first jet airplane and the first fighter with arrow wings designed and built in South America.
Another highlight of the event was the participation of Jorge Malatini, a pioneer of aerobatic flight in Argentina and a member of the Flying Bull team.
The festival was concluded on Sunday by officials including the Minister of Defense, the Chief of the Air Force, the Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces, and the Secretary of International Defense Affairs.
