Karaokê Indie (Botafogo)
The popular weekly Karaokê Indie party is back at Casa da Matriz tonight. In addition to seven hours of singing, shots of Chuva cachaça will be distributed during the night and promotions will include two for one specials on five drinks: caipirinha, caipivodka, Hi-fi, cuba libre and mojito.

Lu Fogaça and Trio (Gamboa)
Tonight at Trapiche Gamboa it’s time for a roda de samba with Brazilian singer-songwriter Lu Fogaça and his trio. The group will blend modern music with samba, forró and MPB. They are well known for their reinterpretations of works by João Nogueira, João Bosco, Baden Powell, Vinicius de Moraes, Chico Buarque and Luiz Melodia, among others.

Fátima Gaspar & Os Gatos da Noite and Marcele Motta (Centro)
At 7:30PM singer Marcele Motta will start off the night at Rio Scenarium with the best of classic MPB. Fátima Gaspar & Os Gatos da Noite and Marcele Motta will follow at 10:30PM with the best of Brazilian music including bossa nova and their reinterpretations of works De Cartola, Paulinho da Viola, Arlindo Cruz, Nelson Cavaquinho, and Tom Jobim, among others.

On Wednesday nights in May the Leviano bar in Lapa is presenting rodas de samba with Rodrigo Moreira and Chinelo de Ded. During the weekly events, DJ Chicote will also spin during show intervals.

The TANDEM Language exchange will take place at Blue Agave Copa tonight. The event involves language learning through conversations between speakers of different languages seated at various tables.
