Ilha Grande is one of the most popular destinations for tourists heading to Rio de Janeiro. However, the paradise beach that you cannot miss is Lagoa Azul, one of the best spots for diving, which impresses visitors with the blue tone of its waters. Moreover, it is the most popular region, so get ready to enjoy the nightlife.

Location

Praia do Secreto – RJ

Among rocks and stones is one of the paradise beaches in Rio de Janeiro: Praia do Secreto. Its great attraction is the adventure to get there if you enjoy rappelling and trekking, this is the best destination for you. As the path is built by rocks, the crystal clear waters are concentrated in some spots, which makes the experience of swimming in the sea different.

Location

Ilha de Cataguases – Angra dos Reis

A quiet beach destination you need to go for relaxation is Ilha de Cataguases. There the waters are calm and the spot is virtually deserted in low season, so many people take the opportunity to practice diving. The trip there is made by boat, but it is approximately ten minutes from the city center, so most agencies offer the package.

Location

Praia do Português – Ubatuba

Directly on the list of deserted beaches in SP is Praia do Português. The place is small, but exactly for this reason it takes on a strong natural pool feature, where one can do stand-up paddle boarding due to the quiet waters. The environment is surrounded by vegetation and can be accessed by a path from Félix beach.

Location

Ilha de Couves – Ubatuba

The most famous beach in all of Ilha Grande is Lopes Mendes, with shallow and clear waters. So, if you really wish to relax and disconnect from the world, this is the ideal destination, in addition to having a rough sea perfect for those who enjoy surfing. Other activities such as hiking, biking and running around the perimeter are common.

Location

Martins de Sá – Paraty

The city of Paraty is very famous and attracts all kinds of tourists, but Martins de Sá beach is special since it shelters native forest and suffered little human intervention. The location is a little distant, taking a good time by hiking or by boat. But it is perfect for those who want to get to know something new, why not try a camping trip with friends?

Location

Praia do Cedro – Ubatuba

One of the quiet beaches in SP is Praia do Cedro. Getting there by car is not difficult and there are countless activities, as the waters are calm you can do stand-up paddle boarding, kayak and snorkeling. The place is surrounded by an enclosed forest, but the infrastructure is great for those who do not want to relinquish their comfort.

Location

Praia do Aventureiro – Ilha Grande

One of the paradise spots in all of Ilha Grande is Praia do Aventureiro. The place is widely used for camping, since it is a little further away and it is peaceful. It boasts a powerful natural beauty, with woods and the famous “coconut tree lying down” which is the local postcard. But besides the natural wonders, another very interesting point is the so-called Pescadores Island, where it is possible to delve much deeper into the local culture.
