The party, with resident DJs Fabio Heinz, Robrigo S and the duo Marginal Men, which consists of DJs Gustvao Elas and Pedro Fontes, is well known for hosting special guests both national and international. The guest DJs come to join the party that has made a name for itself by celebrating street culture and delivering the very best of bass.
Tonight the party welcomes special guest, DJ Spinn. Hailing from Chicago, United States, Spinn is known for his work with TekLife and for reinvigorating house.

It’s time again for the Veneno party tonight at Botafogo’s Casa da Matriz. For over ten years the weekly events, filled with good music and beautiful people, have helped start weekends early in Rio. Tonight will be no exception as DJs Tulio Araujo and Beto Artista will spin the best of rock and pop on the first floor and the Meninas Veneno return to the second floor to spin the best of unsigned hits during the night.

On Thursday nights in July, the posh Lagoa nightclub, Miroir, is hosting Naldo Benny and weekly live performances of his works featured in his DVD “Multishow ao vivo: Naldo Benny.” Additionally each week Benny welcomes special guests. Tonight MC Willian and Duda will join the party.

Salsa and Forró Leviano (Lapa)
Tonight at Lapa’s Leviano bar it’s time to dance as the group Mano a Mano starts things off at 8PM with salsa and merengue on the first floor. Later on the second floor the weekly Forró Leviano party will present a live performance by Marcelo Mimoso and Nicolas Krassik. Additionally, DJ Angolano will spin salsa and DJ Léo Araripe will spin forró during the night.

Toninho Geraes and JP Silva (Lapa)
Tonight at 8:30PM, JP Silva will start things off at Carioca da Gema with the best of samba. Then, composer and singer Toninho Geraes will follow at 10:30PM. Geraes has composed for artists including Martinho da Vila and Zeca Pagodinho and during his show tonight, he will sing their hits, as well as his own compositions. Additionally, he will reinterpret the works of Moacyr Luz, Paulinho da Viola, and Chico Buarque, among others.
