Suzano’s Strategic Shift: $2.9B Investment Plan Reveals Market Confidence

Suzano, a leading player in Brazil’s pulp and paper sector, has revised its investment forecast for 2024. The company now plans to invest R$17.1 billion ($ 2.9 billion), up from the initial R$16.5 billion ($ 2.8 billion). The Cerrado Project, Suzano’s major initiative in Mato Grosso do Sul, will see reduced investment in 2025. The CAPEX for this project will decrease from R$4.6 billion ($ 0.8 billion) in 2024 to R$900 million in 2025. This reduction indicates the project’s progression and Suzano’s strategic resource allocation.
