Created in 2013 by Victor Soares following an invitation from Second City’s Amy Roeder to participate in Chicago Improv Festival, Impro Brasil has performed around the world and is now back in Brazil.

Tonight Monday Night Live will present live comedy improv with Impro Brasil. Victor Soares and José Henrique Couto will perform.

Rio Moonday Boat Party (Glória)
The Rio Moonday Boat Party is back tonight with neon paint and DJs to help you glow while dancing in the moonlight this Monday. Boarding will begin at 11PM at the Marina da Glória There will be welcome shots for guys until 11:30PM and an open bar of vodka, beer and soft drinks for girls until 12AM, when the boat departs. Then the boat will then make its way around Guanabara Bay for four hours with DJs Guga Fernandez and Angola spinning best of trap, world music, funk, house and reggaeton.

Roda de Samba with Rixxa (Lapa)
For a great night of dancing and singing, head to Lapa’s Carioca da Gema. The venue will come alive at 7:30PM as singer and guitarist Pedro Holanda performs live. Then at 9:30PM it’s time for three hours of samba provided by vocalist Rixxa accompanied by brilliant percussionists and members of the Zeca Pagodinho band.

Lunes Sessions @ Leviano (Lapa)
On Monday nights in August, the Leviano bar in Lapa is presenting Lunes Sessions with band Clandestinos, led by singer-songwriter Udi Fagundes, performing their covers of works by Manu Chao, Chico Science, Jorge Benjor, and Bob Marley as well as original arrangements of the best of reggae, dub, ska, and hip-hop.

This American-owned restaurant and bar on Copacabana Beach is a great place for food, drinks and entertainment. They are now serving New York-style pizza and during happy hour from 5PM to 8PM, Monday through Friday petiscos are 50% off and chopp is R$5.50. Additionally, every night, Tony Boka is performing live from 8PM until 1AM. Boka is known for his varied repertoire that always pleases the crowd.
