The event titled, Monday Night Live- Improv Night, marks the group’s return to Rio following several shows abroad.
Impro Brasil was created in 2013 by Victor Soares following an invitation from Second City`s Amy Roeder to perform at the Chicago Improv Festival. Since their formation, members of the team have performed at various comedy festivals around the world.

Latin Rhythm Workshop with Roberto Rutigliano (Botafogo)
Tonight Audio Rebel in Botago will host a Latin Rhythm workshop with special guest, percussionist and drummer Roberto Rutigilano. For three hours, Rutigliano will disucuss drumming and percussion techniques and the creation of beats including rumba, cha-cha and additional Cuban, Uruguayian, African, Argentinian rhythms.

Tonight the I Hate Mondays party returns to the CAVE club in Aproador for its 34th edition. During the night, DJs Yasmin, Schlaepfer, Leo Justi, and Tesfon will spin. Additionally Oli and Artista will spin back-to-back.

Thank God It’s Monday! (Botafogo)
On Mondays in July, Casa da Matriz in Botafogo is hosting the Thank God It’s Monday! party. Shots of caipirinhas will be two-for-one all night and shots of rum will be distributed from the stage. Additionally there will be body shots with Barbara Sampol, cachaça brigadeiros, a lesson in twerking, and the venue promises glitter will be everywhere. DJs Barcalla, Viny Moreira, Millah Bass, and Portela will spin the best of hip hop, pop, indie, bass, funk and rock througout the night.

Lunes Sessions @ Leviano (Lapa)
On Monday nights in July, the Leviano bar in Lapa is presenting Lunes Sessions with band Clandestinos, led by singer-songwriter Udi Fagundes, performing their covers of works by Manu Chao, Chico Science, Jorge Benjor, and Bob Marley as well as their original arrangements of the best of reggae, dub, ska, and hip-hop.

Roda de Samba with Rixxa (Lapa)
For more dancing and singing, head to Lapa’s Carioca da Gema tonight. The venue will come alive at 7:30PM with a special guest singer and guitarist starting off the night. Then at 9:30PM it’s time for three hours of live samba provided by vocalist Rixxa accompanied by brilliant percussionists and members of the Zeca Pagodinho band.
