Lula da Silva will anticipate administrative acts on the first day of his mandate to avoid “power vacuum” in Brazil
The elected Brazilian Government to be presided over by Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will anticipate administrative acts for the first hours of Jan.1, when he takes office, to avoid “instability”, according to the future Minister of Justice, Flávio Dino, yesterday.
In an interview granted to Globonews television, Dino assured that the intention of the future Government would be not to leave “a power vacuum” during the first weeks of the new Government.
Therefore, they will hasten some measures corresponding to the Ministry of Justice, such as possessing weapons.

“We will anticipate some acts because there cannot be a power vacuum. So, this will not happen, in the sense that already in the first hours of Jan. 1, we will take some measures so that this situation of instability does not occur.”
“And no instability will occur. This refers to all the institutions under the control of the Ministry of Justice”, commented Dino.
“We are facing rifles, rifles, pistols, bombs. We now have a new modulation, in relation, especially to shooting clubs.”
“And we will present during this week to President Lula da Silva the first version of a decree that guarantees that there will be a more effective control,” he explained.
Dino’s statements were in response to a question about the Bolsonarista supporter arrested this Saturday in Brasília when he was preparing an attack loaded with explosives and weapons.
Due to this, the future Minister of Justice assured security during Lula da Silva’s inauguration, next Jan. 1, will be reinforced.
