Judge who approved FBI raid on Trump has ties to Jeffrey Epstein and Obama -newspaper

The judge who authorized the FBI raid on former U.S. President Trump’s home donated to Barack Obama’s campaign in 2008. Shortly before that, he represented associates of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who had been granted immunity.

Sources tell the New York Post that Judge Bruce Reinhart signed the search warrant, after which FBI agents stormed Trump’s mansion. The former president said the raid was not announced.

Reinhart was appointed judge in March 2018 after working independently for 10 years. In November of that year, the Miami Herald reported that he had represented several of Epstein’s employees, including his pilots, planner Sarah Kellen and Nadia Marcinkova, whom Epstein once allegedly referred to as his “Yugoslavian sex slave.” Kellen and Marcinkova were granted immunity in exchange for information.

Federal Election Commission records show Reinhart donated to both the Obama campaign and the Obama Victory Fund.

His name later surfaced in a lawsuit brought by two Epstein victims. He was accused of switching camps during the Epstein investigation and allegedly leaking sensitive information.

In 2011, he denied doing anything wrong and claimed he was no longer involved in the Epstein investigation. In 2013, however, former colleagues contradicted him, who said he had received confidential information about the Epstein case while he was a prosecutor.
