RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The Panama’s flag carrier Copa Airlines stands out as the best in Latin America in the last decade, thanks to its Hub of the Americas strategy to connect the region with the rest of the world.
According to the Decade of Airline Excellence Awards, Copa’s fleet connects several destinations across Latin America, including secondary markets, with the rest of the continent and the Caribbean.
“Amid the worst crisis in aviation history and of our airline, we are very proud to receive this important recognition, which is the result of work, dedication and commitment of Copa Airlines’ working team,” Executive Chairman Pedro Heilbron said.
Heilbron added that “we have focused on offering a world-class service to our passengers and positioning our Hub of the Americas as the best point of connectivity on the continent.”
He offered its good offices to continue contributing to regional development, which really needs solid aviation in the face of the crisis situation generated by Covid-19.
