The Colombian Police will transfer 13 Huey helicopters to the Air Force

The Colombian National Police (PNC) will transfer to the Air Force (FAC) a total of 13 Bell UH-1H Huey-II helicopters, within the framework of a cooperation agreement signed between both institutions.

The first of these deliveries was made this week, in acts carried out at the Air Combat Command No. 4, in which four aircraft were delivered.

The FAC will begin to deploy these helicopters in the development of surveillance and control operations, as well as logistics and personnel transportation.

CONDITIONING

The aircraft will be conditioned by the Air Maintenance Command (Caman), the only center authorized and certified by Bell Helicopter (Textron Company) for such purposes. Among the works to be carried out are the checking of systems, changing the paint scheme and identifying marks.

Likewise, among the plans of the Colombian Air Force is to be able to carry out the maintenance required for these helicopters in the near future to extend their useful life.
