Chinese Alibaba to Provide Cloud Computing Service in Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba will provide cloud computing service in Brazil, as part of its support for Chinese companies in the South American country, local media reported on Tuesday.

Alibaba Cloud, a cloud computing company and subsidiary of the Alibaba Group, will start operating in Brazil in the coming months, after reaching an agreement with the Brazilian company UOL Diveo, which will resell the services of the Chinese company.
