Brazilian coffee exports fell 10.3% in April

Coffee exports from Brazil, the world's leading producer, and exporter of the bean, registered a 10.3% drop in April compared to the same month last year, according to official data released Wednesday by the Coffee Exporters Council (Cecafé).

In April 2023, 2,722,180 bags of 60 kilograms were exported, against 3,034,482 in the same month last year.

Export sales fell 16.9% in April, in the year-on-year comparison, according to statistics released by Cecafé in the city of São Paulo.

In the accumulated of the year, exports reached 11,096,777 bags . . .
