A mRNA pioneer expresses concern over potential return of COVID restrictions

Dr. Robert Malone, a mRNA technology pioneer, expresses concern over the potential return of COVID restrictions.

Malone, a key figure in developing mRNA technology for COVID-19 vaccines, has raised concerns about the possible return of COVID-related restrictions, such as lockdowns, vaccine, and mask mandates.

He stressed that these measures are ‘unlawful’ and cautioned against the media’s ‘fear-mongering,’ likening it to tactics used to heighten ‘climate crisis’ fears.

Despite his notable contributions, he has been accused of spreading COVID misinformation by some progressive outlets, leading to his temporary suspension from Twitter.

Malone argues that the media’s heightened alarm about new COVID variants is baseless and not supported by evidence, suggesting it is part of a wider agenda to limit public freedoms.

He notes that the actual risks of the new variants are extremely low, yet Pfizer and Moderna have created vaccines for at least one variant, and the Biden administration has allocated US$1.4 billion for future COVID-19 vaccines and treatments.

Although President Biden declared the pandemic ‘over’ last year, Malone speculates that another emergency might be needed to effectively distribute vaccines on a large scale.

Other experts, including science writer Robert Zimmerman and Republican campaign manager Ryan Cunningham, share concerns about the possible repercussions of reinstating restrictions.

They fear it could polarize states along party lines and increase reliance on private corporations for enforcement, akin to government censorship via Twitter.
