New Era of Air Connectivity: Venezuela and China

In an announcement made by Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, Venezuela’s Minister of Transport, a new air travel chapter unfolds.

Both nations have agreed on protocols for commercial flights, marking a milestone in their long-standing partnership.

This decision springs from agreements between Presidents Nicolás Maduro and Xi Jinping.

Today, the aviation authorities from China and Venezuela finalized these protocols.

The declaration occurred on the social media platform X, where Velásquez shared his optimism.

He promised that Conviasa, the Venezuelan air consortium, would soon create an air bridge.

This bridge aims to bolster interactions, ensuring top-tier service and comfort.

Photos capturing this significant protocol signing were also shared by Velásquez. His enthusiasm mirrored by Yván Gil, Venezuela’s Foreign Minister.

Gil took to social media to celebrate, heralding the upcoming service expansion by Conviasa to China.

The establishment of diplomatic ties on June 28, 1974, set the foundation for these developments.

Under Hugo Chávez’s leadership, these bonds deepened. Today, they stand as a robust strategic alliance, proving resilient through various global challenges.

This new air route not only symbolizes a commitment to enhanced bilateral relations but also promises economic and cultural benefits.

It reflects a mutual understanding and respect, forging a path toward greater cooperation.

As planes soon cross the skies between these nations, they carry with them the hopes of strengthened ties and shared prosperity.
