RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - After ten years, Rio de Janeiro will once again host a Stock Car race, the most significant auto racing event in Brazil. One of the 2022 season rounds will be held in the State's capital city, and the novelty is the race location: Rio's Galeão International Airport track.
The official announcement will be made by the State Governor, Cláudio Castro, this Wednesday morning, December 15th. It will be the first race in a commercial airport in the history of Brazilian sport.
