Chelsea FC “shocked” the soccer world last Wednesday (7) by announcing the resignation of Thomas Tuchel.
The German, who had collected some negative results in the team, was surprisingly informed about the decision after the defeat of the Blues against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League.
Now that he is accessible on the market, Tuchel is being courted by several European clubs, including Juventus Torino of Italy.
However, yesterday (12), the prestigious newspaper ‘The Athletic’ revealed that the fate of the German coach might be different.
According to the newspaper, the fate of Tuchel could be the mighty Real Madrid, which should lose coach Carlo Ancelotti at the end of this season.
The idea has been floated recently by the supreme council of Merengue without any contact between the parties.
However, it should be noted that Madrid has not yet taken the decision, which at the moment is only evaluating the name of the German for the post, with Ancelotti himself still quoted to renew his contract.
Tuchel left Chelsea FC after leading the team to victory 100 times in the Champions League, Club World Cup, and UEFA Super Cup.
