RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - In Brazil, 357,294 new companies were opened in March. The figure is a record for the month since Serasa Experian began its historical 'Enterprise Birth Indicator' series in 2010. Of the total number of businesses opened, 271,575 were MEIs (individual microentrepreneurs), a decrease of 3.8% compared to the same month last year.
