Brazil: Embraer plans to sell almost 2,000 jets in 10 years

Embraer intends to manufacture and sell almost 2,000 aircraft over the next ten years, considering the E1 and E2 family jets.

This is the forecast of Arjan Meijer, president of commercial aviation of the Brazilian company.

Meijer said that Embraer estimates there is room to replace competing aircraft.

The global leader in the manufacturing of airplanes with up to 150 seats, the Brazilian company holds 29% of this market, according to Valor Econômico newspaper.
