Rihanna Becomes Wealthiest Female Musician, Says Forbes

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Rihanna is 31 years old, has a US$600 million (R$2.4 billion) fortune and now, a new record: she became the wealthiest female musician, according to a Forbes magazine report on Tuesday, June 4th.
Surpassing Madonna (US$570 million), the singer has embarked on diverse projects:
- Albums, singles, and tours;
- Creation of the millionaire cosmetic brand Fenty Beauty, which is part of the French giant LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy), oriented towards differing skin tones;
- Creation of Fenty, a brand of jewelry, lingerie, clothing and accessories, focusing on body and size diversity.
Rihanna’s businesses have profited from the growth of the self-care industry in the United States in recent years, according to the magazine, with record sales figures in 2017.
