Record Breakers: Brazil’s Farming Exports Soar Beyond Expectations

In February, Brazil’s exports of coffee, sugar, and cotton have already surpassed the totals of February 2023, showcasing a remarkable start to the year.

Cotton exports soared to 146.3 thousand tons, a remarkable 510% increase from last year’s daily average.

Favorable international prices, up 15% this year, and Brazil’s strategic stockpiling from the previous harvest drive exports.

Record production projections for 2024, endorsed by Conab, further support Brazil’s export surge.

Sugar and coffee exports also reflect positive trends, with sugar exports nearing 1.8 million tons for the month, thanks to a record sugarcane harvest.
