Latam Brazil Boosts Routes via Lufthansa, Swiss Partnerships

Starting the winter of 2023-2024, Latam Airlines in Brazil is making a significant move by expanding its travel options.

It will strengthen its existing partnerships with Lufthansa and Swiss airlines. The goal is clear: to offer more flight choices and improve the passenger experience.

The initial step of this growth plan starts on October 30, 2023. Latam will introduce four weekly flights between Zurich and Milan.

These journeys will bear Latam’s “LA” code and SWISS will operate them. By doing so, Latam aims to diversify the routes available under its brand.

Then comes January 7, 2024. The airline will increase these weekly Zurich-Milan flights to five.

This uptick shows a strengthened alliance between Latam and Swiss. More flights mean more options, making air travel flexible and convenient.

Yet, Latam isn’t stopping there. The airline has further plans with Lufthansa. Starting in January 2024, Latam will launch new domestic routes within Brazil.

All these flights will start from Rio de Janeiro-Galeão Airport. This move aims to improve travel within Brazil and meet growing domestic demand.

On January 2, Latam will roll out these new routes gradually. Passengers will find it easier to travel to several cities in Brazil.

These include Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Porto Alegre, Salvador da Bahia, and Vitória. By doing so, Latam seeks to facilitate smoother transit for its clientele.

In conclusion, Latam is focusing on expanding its routes and partnerships. It’s working closely with Swiss and Lufthansa to achieve this.

By broadening its network, Latam aims to make flying more accessible and versatile.

The move underscores the airline’s commitment to delivering a broader, more flexible range of travel options for its customers.
